Detailed study of sustainable heat sources in the Bruges area

.

The city of Bruges has a lot of surface water, both in and around the city centre and towards the port in Zeebrugge. The aquathermal potential of the flowing surface water consisting of navigable rivers and streams was mapped. In addition to flowing rivers, inland waters, moats, ponds and lakes were also included and analysed as stagnant sources due to their limited flow. To determine their aquathermal potential, EXTRAQT has physical models to map both flowing and stagnant waters.
